Solution one

This type of security system may be used to control access on one or many independent doors within a building. Depending upon which type of reader is installed; access is gained by using either a numeric code, or by presenting an access control card.

Standalone access control systems are great for smaller businesses with a relatively small number of users; management of the system is simple and can be extended easily as your requirements change.

In this type of access control system all of the control electronics are in the keypad or reader. It is a compact system that is easy to administer and is a cost-effective means of controlling access to a building. However, as the control electronics are all housed in the reader or keypad this type of system is not recommended for exterior or high security interior doors.

Compact systems are available with a choice of keypads, proximity readers or swipe-card readers. Access is gained by using a code or PIN with a keypad, or by presenting a valid access control card to the card reader. Simple management using our access control cards or fobs makes administration straightforward.

Compact systems can be fitted to one door or many doors in a building. Additional doors may simply be added as required.

Solution two

This is a standalone solution with a separate control unit for higher security. The control unit is housed on the inside or safe side of the door, providing higher security than a compact system. The control unit is used in conjunction with an access control reader or keypad and is the recommended standalone solution for external doors and higher security internal doors.

Security systems are available with a choice of keypads, proximity key-fob readers or swipe-card readers. This security solution has a larger range of compatible readers than compact solutions and may also be used with a combined keypad/proximity reader.

Access is gained by using a code or PIN with a keypad, or by presenting a valid id card to the card reader. Our access control systems can be fitted to one or many doors in a building. Additional doors may be added as and when required.
