This will provide continuous monitoring of a building’s external areas, id-visual can supply and integrate a range of passive, infrared detectors into your closed circuit television system.

How the systems work:

On detection of a potential intruder, the external devices are triggered and automatically instruct the nearest cameras to pan round, and zoom in on, the area of activity, thereby keeping a watch over your property 24 hours a day. depending on the site requirements the detectors can also trigger simultaneously to a security monitoring station who can then watch the security incident from a safe distance, warn the intruders off site via warning horn speakers and if need be contact the police or private security company to attend the site immediately.

Since the detectors are available with different viewing ranges and detection widths, id-visual are happy to provide advice on the models that would best suit your circumstances, together with their strategic positioning in and around the protected areas or full perimeter protection if need be.

Using a combination of intelligent signal processing and multi-beam detection, external infrared systems are effective over a range of up to 200 metres.
