In its simple form an intercom call point is linked to a telephone style handset and an electronic door lock. Pressing the call button on the call point would ring the telephone, two way communication takes place between the call point and handset, and then the operator of the handset has the option to open the electronic lock by pressing the release button. Variations of this system can be tailored to meet the needs of your business.
