The system uses Personal Infrared Transmitters (PITs) which, when activated, use patented infrared technology to activate calls for emergency assistance. If required, the Advanced System can include a ‘Talkback’ option that adds two-way communication to its other facilities, whilst the Supervisor can monitor the whole system and automatically report faults.
